I´ve been tired before in my life, but nothing like these last few months. All day we are on the go but as soon as we finish planning I just pass out (once I didn´t even make it through all of planning...) It´s a good tired though.
Once I decided to rest in my bed for just a few minutes after planning and woke up at midnight and realized I should at least let go of my planner and take off my name tag if I´m going to sleep... 😊
This week we had a miracle. Lots of them, actually, but I´d like to share one of them with you. Saturday afternoon our (only) 2 investigators progressing towards a baptism date told us they couldn´t come to church this week. Ouch. Then Sunday morning the new investigator we had found by a very inspired contact wasn´t there when we went to pick her up. Double ouch. I was feeling pretty sad because we weren´t going to bring anyone to church. I then remembered how many times the Lord has blessed us with miracles when our best just isn´t good enough. I began to pray and talk the situation over with my Heavenly Father and we arrived at the conclusion that I would just trust him. We got to church and were greating the members when I saw someone I knew. It took me a moment to work it out in my mind when I finally realized who it was- Carlos!!! Do you remember Sonia, and her children Carlos and Tania? Carlos and Tania haven´t been able to come to church because their father wouldn´t allow them to. Saturdays and Sundays were HIS time he said. But apparently they just straight up told him that were going to church. We´ve been reading about Nephi with them, they learned this spiritual strength from him. I love this family so much!!! Their goal is the temple.
Love you all!
