I've decided that two things I love about the Day of The Dead are the bread and the flowers. Halloween isn´t as big here, but it does last for days. I saw trick-or-treaters around centro starting on Thursday and there were still a couple wandering around last night....
ANYWAY, the big news of this week is that Sonia was baptised!!! I love her and her family so much! She is so happy and has such a strong desire to learn more. She said that when she was confirmed she could feel many hands on her head, as if there were many more than the 3 in the circle, and when she closed her eyes she could see ¨mucha luz,¨ light and felt peace. She is so sensitive to the Spirit. It was really fun reviewing the baptismal questions with her because her two children (14 and 12) answered all the questions before she got a chance! They already have a testimony and the desire. They just need to attend church 4 times and they can be baptised! The goal of the whole family is the temple, which should be the goal of all of us. The stake here is really emphasizing the blessings of the temple. It makes me miss the temple so much! I´m happy though, the more they attend the temple, the sooner we´ll have one here in Pachuca!
This week one of the sisters in our Zone had to go home for medical reasons so they ended up closing the area (bye Santiago) temporarily which means we are only 3 companionships of sisters in the Zone. Sister Palacios and I feel like shepherds with no sheep... there´s no one to watch over... But we are really going to focus on helping the sisters in Tezontepec and Tlahelilpan! The zone is struggling with a little bit of discouragement so we are going to give it a good shot of energy!!!!!
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Go to the temple! Live up to your privilages!!!!
Love,
