Happy Independence Day! I didn´t get to do anything for the 4th of July (actually, I kind of forgot it was the 4th of July...), but I´m loving 16 de Septiembre. On Sunday we asked the ward council at what time we needed to be in our house Monday and Tuesday (for saftey reasons, party= not safe for misioneras) and they told us that we could work normal hours (until 9ish) as long as we avoided downtown and main roads, like the Tito Estrada (oh, you mean the road were we live?). Thankfully, we have appointments in Xochitlan, a pueblito pretty far from Progreso, both days so we´ll avoid most of the fiesta. Hopefully we can sleep tonight... Hno Galvez mentioned that the biggest danger is what I think translates to ¨lose bullets¨ around midnight. Fantastic.... What more to report.... we managed to have 42 lessons this week! We feel happy about that and are working very hard to keep it up. Now we just need to raise our other key indicators... like new baptism dates, we´ve been struggling with that one.
We had our interviews with President this week. As always, he gave me some words of wisdom that pretty much blew my mind. I´m still processing it all, but it sufficeth me to say, Eternal Progression is one of the most beautiful concepts of the Gospel. I feel so blessed to have the fullness of the Gospel in my life! I want to keep learning more and more my whole life and I want everyone to be able to see and understand the wonderful blessings avaliable to all. I´ve been thinking about the temple a lot these past few weeks, I really miss going. I exhort you all to make the temple part of your lives and work hard to understand it! Conversion is hard work. It takes concious effort. Just do it.
Sorry for not sending stories. I'm really bad at remembering them 😊
Love,
