This week we got to see an awesome example of true conversion. Sister Maria lives in Motobatha, a pueblito that is part of Mixquiahuala. She is 100% dedicated to missionary work, always willing to go with us on visits and always volunteers to take people to church even if it´s an hour out of her way. Last week was her brithday and she instead of having a normal party, she wanted to have an open house in her home to show her family and friends what we do in the church. She invited all the organizations of the church (Primary, Relief Society, Family History, etc.) to put up a table in her house and after the opening hymn and prayer, the guests passed by all the tables and learned about the organizacions. The missionaries had a table of course! The only sad part is, it went pretty late so we had to leave early... It was so wonderful to see her true selfless desire to share the gospel. I feel so blessed to know the Gospel and for all the wonderful things that I´ve recieved in my life because of this knowledge! I hope my conversion is deep enough all my life that I´ll do that type of thing.
Remember how I mentioned that sometimes we give lessons in buses? When I first heard of missionaries in the mission doing it I was a little skeptical. What kind of lesson is that? You´re just inflating numbers. Later I realized that it was actually a really great way to share the gospel, but I was still reeeeeally reluntant to do it. The first time I saw someone do it was when one of my zone leaders gave a fantastic lesson on the plan of salvation. My companion and I, however, still stuck to standing in front and introducing ourselves then just handing out cards and asking addresses. Then I went on divisions with Hna García (my current companion). She did it and I realized that I was supposed to be teaching her so I needed to get to work. I was nervous, super nervous, until I stood up- and it was all natural. I saw from the beginning 2 young woman who seemed pretty interested. Sure enough, after the lesson when we were talking to everyone she gave me her address and I gave her the pamphlet I had. Sadly, I lost the address. After a few weeks I found it and we went to look for her. Long story short(er), she´s been to church twice, she knows it´s true, and she´s working towads a baptism date.
The church is true! Read the Book of Mormon!!!
I love you all!

Sometimes in Mexico there just isn´t water in the chapel, so you have the make the best of it when it comes to washing your hands.
Having a deep conversation with a burro during divisiones in Santiago.
