What shall I say of this week? We didn´t have a whole ton of lessons, but we were able to make some very good visits. It is a wonderful blessing to be a missionary, you get to meet and love so many people.
At the beginning of this cycle we contacted a man with his 9 year-old son and set up an appointment. We went that saturday and taught the 2 boys. The father was listening as well, but refused to comment. He told us that he had exposed the boys to many religions and wanted them to learn so they could make a well informed desicion. It was a weird situacion but we decided that we could make it work. We invited them to Gloria´s baptism that day, and they went! We set up a challenge with them, they would read the Book of Mormon and pray about it every day and come to church with us every week for 1 month. At the end, they would know enough to decide whether to be baptised or not (the same challenge as with Gloria!). The dad even wanted to be part! The next sunday they all came to church, and have been 3 times now! At first they resisted a baptism date, but due to some divine ¨coincidences¨ and some strong spiritual promtings, the dad told us he had taken the decsion to be baptised, and the whole family wants to follow suit! They are a beautiful family and have clearly been prepared to make this choice! They are making the changes they feel are necessary and seeing huge differences in their family.
The Book of Mormon is true! The gospel of Christ changes lives and changes families!
I love you all!!!
Love,

We ate some good food today :) #zoneactivity #porkribs #carnitas #tacos
This poor little fellow is a stray dog that hangs around our apartment complex. A few weeks ago someone decided it would be fun to hit him, hard enough that he had a hernia and lost the use of his back legs. He´s a fighter though, and now can stand on 3 legs! We´re all cheering for him.
Happy Birthday Elder Fox!
The members we ate with didn´t know it was his birthday but felt inspired to buy a cake for us. Talk about revelation :)
